Ingredients
For the Chicken:
- 1 lb boneless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
For the Bang Bang Sauce:
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha (adjust to taste)
For Garnish:
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy clean-up.
- Set up a breading station with three bowls:
- Bowl 1: Flour mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper
- Bowl 2: Beaten eggs
- Bowl 3: Panko breadcrumbs
- Bread the chicken:
Dip each chicken piece first in flour, then in egg, and finally coat it with panko. Press the breadcrumbs onto the chicken to ensure an even, crispy layer. - Arrange the breaded chicken on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with sesame oil for extra crispiness.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and fully cooked.
- Make the sauce:
In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha until smooth and creamy. Adjust the spice level to your taste. - Toss the baked chicken in the sauce until well coated.
- Serve immediately, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
