Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 1 lb boneless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

For the Bang Bang Sauce:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha (adjust to taste)

For Garnish:

  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy clean-up.
  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls:
    • Bowl 1: Flour mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper
    • Bowl 2: Beaten eggs
    • Bowl 3: Panko breadcrumbs
  3. Bread the chicken:
Dip each chicken piece first in flour, then in egg, and finally coat it with panko. Press the breadcrumbs onto the chicken to ensure an even, crispy layer.
  4. Arrange the breaded chicken on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with sesame oil for extra crispiness.
  5. Bake for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and fully cooked.
  6. Make the sauce:
In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha until smooth and creamy. Adjust the spice level to your taste.
  7. Toss the baked chicken in the sauce until well coated.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
