Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk (or 2%)
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup cooked ham, diced
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup green onions, finely chopped (or use yellow onion)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Butter or non-stick spray (for greasing the pan)

Instructions

1. Preheat and Prepare the Pan

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch pie dish or quiche pan with butter or non-stick spray to prevent sticking.

2. Mix the Egg Base

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and heavy cream until smooth and fully combined.

3. Add the Fillings

Stir in the diced ham, shredded Swiss cheese, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until evenly distributed.

4. Assemble the Quiche

Pour the mixture into the prepared pie dish. Use a spatula to smooth the surface and ensure an even layer.

5. Bake the Quiche

Place in the oven and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.

6. Cool and Serve

Allow the quiche to cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm, at room temperature, or even chilled straight from the fridge.
