📝 Ingredients:

For the Chicken:

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)

  • 1½ tsp garlic powder

  • 2 chicken breasts, halved into 4 fillets 🍗

  • 2 tbsp olive oil 🫒

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter 🧈

For the Marsala Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter 🧈

  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced 🍄

  • 6 garlic cloves, minced 🧄

  • ¾ cup dry Marsala wine 🍷

  • 1¼ cup chicken stock 🍗

  • ¾ cup heavy whipping cream 🥛

  • 2½ tbsp fresh parsley, chopped 🌿


👨‍🍳 Instructions:

1️⃣ Prepare the Chicken:

  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, salt, garlic powder, and pepper.

  • Dredge each chicken fillet in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.

2️⃣ Pan-Sear the Chicken:

  • Heat olive oil & butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Cook the chicken fillets for 4 minutes per side, or until golden brown.

  • Transfer to a plate and set aside.

3️⃣ Make the Marsala Sauce:

  • In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter.

  • Add mushrooms and cook until browned. Stir in garlic and sauté until fragrant.

  • Pour in Marsala wine and chicken stock, then bring to a simmer. Let it reduce for about 15 minutes until thickened.

4️⃣ Finish & Serve:

  • Stir in heavy cream and return the chicken fillets to the pan.

  • Simmer for a few minutes until the chicken is heated through and coated in the sauce.

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately!
