📋 Ingredients:
- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti) 🍝
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain 🥩
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste) 🌶️
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey 🍯
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 4 green onions, chopped
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish (optional) 🌿
👩🍳 Directions:
1️⃣ Boil the Pasta
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ Sauté the Aromatics
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1 minute, just until fragrant.
3️⃣ Cook the Steak
Add sliced flank steak to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Sear until browned and caramelized, about 4–5 minutes.
4️⃣ Make the Sauce
Pour in soy sauce, honey, and rice vinegar. Stir well and let simmer 2–3 minutes, until the sauce slightly thickens and coats the steak.
5️⃣ Toss It All Together
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss until all noodles are evenly coated in the sweet and spicy sauce.
6️⃣ Serve & Garnish
Remove from heat. Garnish with chopped green onions and fresh cilantro, if desired. Serve hot and enjoy immediately!
