🔥 One Skillet Creamy Cajun Buffalo Chicken & Bowtie Pasta

Bold, creamy, and irresistibly spicy — the ultimate comfort food in under 30 minutes!

Ready to turn up the heat on pasta night? This Creamy Cajun Buffalo Chicken Pasta brings together the best of both worlds: the kick of buffalo sauce and the smoky depth of Cajun spices, all balanced with a luscious cream sauce. And the best part? It all comes together in just one skillet — less cleanup, more flavor.

🍴 Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta, cooked and drained
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

🔥 Instructions:

1. Sear the Chicken:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken strips and cook until golden and cooked through (about 6–8 minutes). Season with Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

2. Build the Sauce:
Remove chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, pour in the buffalo sauce, heavy cream, and chicken broth. Stir well, scraping up all the flavorful bits from the bottom.

3. Simmer & Thicken:
Let the sauce simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

4. Combine Everything:
Add in the cooked bowtie pasta and stir to coat it in the sauce. Return the chicken to the skillet and mix until everything is evenly coated.

5. Cheese It Up:
Sprinkle in the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning.

6. Serve & Garnish:
Finish with a sprinkle of freshly chopped parsley and serve hot. You can even drizzle a little extra buffalo sauce on top if you’re feeling bold!

🌿 Pro Tips:

  • Use rotisserie chicken for a shortcut version.
  • Swap bowtie pasta with penne or rotini if preferred.
  • Add spinach or broccoli for a veggie boost.
  • Love it extra spicy? Add a dash of hot sauce or red pepper flakes.
