🦀 Garlic Butter Crab Legs
Rich, buttery, and loaded with garlicky goodness — this seafood classic is a restaurant-style treat you can easily make at home!
🛒 Ingredients:
- 2 lbs crab legs (king or snow crab), thawed if frozen
- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 5–6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning (optional, for that coastal kick)
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
- Salt, to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
👨🍳 Instructions:
1️⃣ Prep the Crab Legs
• Use kitchen shears to slightly cut open the shells for easy access to the meat.
• Rinse and pat dry.
2️⃣ Make the Garlic Butter
• In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
• Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant (don’t let it brown!).
• Stir in lemon juice and Old Bay seasoning. Let simmer for 1 minute.
3️⃣ Add the Crab Legs
• Place the crab legs into the skillet and spoon the garlic butter over them.
• Cover and cook for 4–6 minutes, turning occasionally to coat them well.
4️⃣ Serve & Enjoy!
• Transfer the crab legs to a platter and drizzle remaining garlic butter on top.
• Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon wedges.
• Serve immediately with extra melted butter on the side for dipping. 🧈🍋

- Want extra indulgence? Add a splash of white wine to the butter sauce.
- No Old Bay? Use a pinch of paprika + a dash of cayenne for a spicy twist.
- Pair with crusty bread or corn on the cob for a full seafood feast.
