Ingredients
For the Steak & Seasoning:
- 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1½ tbsp Cajun seasoning
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Pasta & Sauce:
- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 4 tbsp butter (divided)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup beef broth
- 1¼ cups grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup cream cheese (for extra creaminess)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Fettuccine
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the fettuccine until al dente, according to package instructions. Drain and set aside—reserve ½ cup of pasta water to thin the sauce if needed.
2️⃣ Sear the Steak Bites
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak bites with Cajun seasoning, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Add steak to the hot skillet and cook for 4–5 minutes until golden brown and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.
3️⃣ Make the Cajun Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).
Pour in beef broth and heavy cream. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
Stir in the cream cheese, Parmesan, and mozzarella until melted and smooth. Adjust the thickness with reserved pasta water if necessary.
4️⃣ Combine Pasta & Steak
Add the cooked fettuccine and steak bites back into the skillet. Toss well to coat everything in the rich, creamy Cajun Alfredo sauce. Let simmer for another 2–3 minutes to blend flavors.
5️⃣ Garnish & Serve
Top with chopped fresh parsley and an extra sprinkle of Parmesan. Serve hot and enjoy every bite of this savory, spicy comfort dish!
